Seej

I'm Seej, an engineer with a hardware background. I like figuring out how things work and making things that don't exist yet: electronics, AI experiments, games full of spaceships. I also paint, sketch, and take photographs. These interests tend to get into each other's business.

Currently pondering how to start a YouTube channel.

I'm married to Jana. Our mini-Aussie, Momo, has strong opinions about everything. I like space things more than I can justify.

This is where I share the things I make and the ideas that keep me curious.

Why the hexagon

Of the three regular shapes that tile a plane, the hexagon gives each cell the most neighbors: six, where a square gets four and a triangle three.

That's the part I wanted. Nothing I work on stays in its own lane for long, and six edges is more places for things to touch.

It's also a cube seen corner-on, which you can't un-see once you've noticed it.

Mostly I just like how it looks.
